One of the Christiana Resisters charged with Treason by the U.S. government in 1851 was a farmer named Ezekiel Thompson. Today I met his fifth great grandson who proudly shared the story of his family. Ezekiel was a mixed race man from the Eastern shore of Maryland, part Indian and Black.
