I stopped in Sherman, Mississippi this evening at a Soul Food restaurant called Vell’s Kitchen. Ohh man, the BBQ chicken, potato salad, and fried cabbage was so good. While there, a young white guy named Evan strolls in the joint with his guitar, sits down and just starts playin’. No one paid him any mind cause they all know him, but everyone listened to his words and occasionally even responded to them.
