Paul Robeson Remembered

“To be free . . . to walk the good American earth as equal citizens, to live without fear, to enjoy the fruits of our toil, to give our children every opportunity in life–that dream which we have held so long in our hearts is today the destiny that we hold in our hands.”

Paul Robeson

This quote reflects one of the many reasons why I enjoy walking — To be free! To feel the sun and see the stars above me, to live without fear, to reflect upon our ancestor’s spirit that still roam the lands we once toiled, and to rejuvenate my spirit’s desire for wholesome, nutritious, movement.
