I was delighted to be introduced to the Rust College community this evening. I enjoyed talking to students about Walk to Freedom, the importance of Civil Rights, and MLK50. Afterwards I was interviewed on the college’s radio station. Rust College is an HBCU and is expected to graduate 129 students at its next commencement in late April. One of its most famous graduates is Ida B. Wells.
