Cheyenne Bauld is a small Black business owner in Frederick, Maryland. I learned about BK Juices, at 343 N. Market St., Frederick, from a client of her’s, Leroy Copeland, I interviewed on the street in Frederick while resting in front of the Quinn AME Church. I was eager to find a Black business owner who would be willing to share their story of success in Frederick. I was also seeking a cool refreshing smoothie to re-energize me after my walk to the city. In this audio story which was recorded on my phone, Bauld talks about her decision to open juice bar after the pandemic.
