Cancelled: Detroit Kwanzaa Walk to Freedom Itinerary

Update: Due to the inclement weather expected this morning, the tour has been cancelled out of an abundance of caution.
Guests are invited to join the walk on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM at the Tower of Freedom, in Windsor, Ontario for a short walk to First Baptist Church of Sandwich.

Day 2: Saturday December 27, 2025
Tower of Freedom, 200 Pitt St E, between Goyeau St. and McDougall Ave., Civic Esplanade,10:00 a.m. From the Tower of Freedom the walk will make a short visit to the McDougall Street Corridor, before heading to the Sandwich First Baptist Church, 3652 Peter St, ETA 12:00 noon.
From the Sandwich First Baptist Church, the walk will turn south to LaSalle, Ont., 13 km/8 mi
Day 3: Sunday December 28, 2025
LaSalle to Amherstburg Freedom Museum, 277 King St., Amherstburg, 16km/10mi
Day 4: Monday December 29, 2025
Amherstburg Freedom Museum to the Central Grove AME, Harrow. ETA 1:00 p.m. 19 km/12 mi
